Blackbox – Think outside the box in order to solve the puzzles.

Blackbox is a game for iOS that needs you to do different things with your phone to resolve its amazing puzzles. For those players looking for solutions, tricks, tips and answers or hints to the challenges ahead, then you’re in the right place!

Next, you’ll see all the steps you will have to take to complete all that levels. But remember that puzzles having more boxes need not necessarily be followed step by step. These instructions will help you solve this puzzle easier for everybody.

Before we start, an important tip for you is to pay attention to the color of the squares and understand that similar hues imply a similar solution in solving it, while an image or a request for permission to a specific feature might offer you the solution you’re looking for. All you need to do is to think creatively!
Here you’ll be faced with a challenging puzzle that requires your time, self-control and navigation. So do your best and solve it!

Puzzle 1: Red Box

Boxes 1-6

  • Rotate your iPhone to line up the 4 squares at the edges.
  • Turn your iPhone face up on a surface that is flat so the two circles line up in the center.
  • Turn your iPhone face down on a surface that is flat so the two circles line up in the center.

Puzzle 2: Yellow Box

Boxes 7-8

  • Turn the brightness on the screen all the way down.
  • Turn the brightness on the screen all the way up.

Puzzle 3: Orange Box

Boxes 9-12

  • Turn up (all the way) the volume.
  • Turn down (all the way) the volume.
  • Mute the phone completely.
  • Plug in the headphones.

Puzzle 4: Light Orange Box

  • Take the phone up to the ear for a good ten seconds as if you are calling somebody.

  • Set the phone on the Airplane mode and shut WiFi service.

  • Take a screenshot from your iPhone.

  • To complete this you’ll have to take your time. Activate the Blackbox application and open it up to this amazing Puzzle once every hour of that day.

Puzzle 8: Light Green Box

Boxes 18-20

  • Plug your iPhone charging cable after the green balls start filling the screen.
  • The battery of your iPhone must be charge until reaches 100%.
  • Let your iPhone battery drain to 10%.

Puzzle 9: Light Blue Box

Boxes 21-23

  • Silence the microphone to keep any noise from being picked up by it.
  • Shout into the microphone.
  • Blow into the microphone.

Puzzle 10: Purple Box

Box 24

  • Say the words “Hey, Blackbox!” or “Blackbox!”sharply into your iPhone’s microphone.

Puzzle 11: Fuschia Box

Boxes 25-26

  • Wait for or modify the date on your iPhone to a day of the full moon.
  • Wait for or modify the date on your iPhone to a day of a new moon.

Puzzle 12: Burnt Orange Box

  • Keep your iPhone face up on a plane surface till the color fills in the entire screen.

Puzzle 13: Dark Pink Box

Boxes 28-20

  • Open the application to this Puzzle at sunrise or switch the time at that hour.
  • Open the application to this Puzzle at noon or switch the time at that hour.
  • Open the application to this Puzzle at sunset or switch the time at that hour.

* On Google you’ll discover the exact times of these particular events and leap for this Blackbox Puzzle by manually setting the time on your iPhone for each.

Puzzle 14: Blue Box

Boxes 31-34

  • Walk a long distance to fill the first 3 rings.
  • Climb high enough to fill the forth ring.

* Many Blackbox puzzlers found this Puzzle difficult to complete since it is greatly challenging.

Meta Challenge

  • Poke your screen of the phone repeatedly in different places of the screen to unlock a secret Meta challenge!

Puzzle 15: Hot Pink Box

  • Use a different finger than the one scanned for a Touch-ID three times consecutively.

  • Open the application to the left-hand corner of your home page.

  • Shake your phone to undo typing.

  • Go to the Blackbox settings in your iPhone and switch it on. Open the app and then go back to the Blackbox settings and switch it off.

Puzzle 19: Pastel Blue With Border Box

  • The green box appearing on your screen is lighted but then turns off. To turn it back on, you need to turn off the option named “Set Automatically” and modify Date and Time in the settings of your phone.
  • Set the current time manually back to one minute earlier.
  • Go back to the app and the green box should be lighted.

Puzzle 20: Hot Pink With Border Box

  • Play this Puzzle for 3 whole days.
  • Turn off your iPhone.
  • Turn it back on. The hot pink box will be unlocked.

Puzzle 21: Light Orange Box

  • Cut the text from somewhere.
  • Go back to the box.
  • The page on the clipboard will fall off making the light orange box.
  • Paste the cut text into Notes application.
  • It should read xobkcalb (Blackbox backwards).
  • Write Blackbox into Notes app.
  • Then copy it.
  • Return to the box to see it lighted up.

Puzzle 22: Pink Box

Box 42

  • Use your hand and front camera to make rings.
  • The longer you hold the cam, the thicker the rings you make.
  • Create a line and dot pattern by using the rings.

Puzzle 23: Purple Box

Boxes 43-48

  • Use your voice at different pitches to try identify the one that is consonant with each of the six lines.

Puzzle 24: Transparent With Dark Blue Border Box

Boxes 49-51

  • Climb to higher altitutes in order to fill in all the three boxes.

Puzzle 25: Light Green Box

Boxes 52-53

  • Open the application and ask someone to ring you twice.
  • Accept one of the calls to light up one box.
  • Decline one of the calls to light up the other box.

Puzzle 26: Lavender With Border Box

Box 54

  • Use your fingers to pull the map off screen.
  • The game will tell you to stop pulling the grid but keep doing it.
  • You’ll notice that a transparent purple box will appear on the map.
  • Take a screenshot to light up the box.

Puzzle 27: Salmon With Border Box

  • Go to BlackboxPuzzles.com.
  • Lock the orientation on your iPhone.
  • Turn your iPhone upside down.
  • You’ll see Blackbox://Meta in the center of the screen.
    Open that link into Safari.
  • Select Yes to open this in the application.
  • This will open a new box and a message, “NOT SO FAST” and Blackbox:// with a lock emoji.
  • Go back to Safari and enter Blackbox:// with the key emoji.
  • Select Yes to open this in the app.
  • The new level will now be available.
  • This level is dark.
  • Go back to Safari and enter Blackbox:// with the light bulb emoji.
  • Select option „yes” to open this in the application.

Puzzle 28: Blue-Green Box

  • Pick a box and tap on its hint box once.
  • Do this to three different boxes.
  • Open 56 and tap on its hint box once to light it up.

* You don’t have to divulge the hint, just tap on the box around the hint.

Puzzle 29: Blue-Green Box

Box 57

  • Tap on the box.
  • Tap three times on its hint box.

* You don’t have to divulge the hint, just tap on the box around the hint.

Puzzle 30: Fuschia With Border Box

  • Hold your finger on the screen to go to the home menu.
  • Hold your finger down until the whole screen fills up with pink color.
